A warm, collaborative space for understanding, growth, and meaningful change.

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A)

Hello! I’m Ranesa Goss, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas, supervised by Sara Alexander, M.A., LPC-S.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. My professional journey has included working in local mental health settings and middle school education, where I developed a passion for working with adolescents and supporting people through life’s challenges.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and grief in its many forms. I believe every person’s experiences are unique, and I value creating space to understand each client’s story, strengths, and goals.

My approach is person-centered and grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, while incorporating other modalities as appropriate. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet each client where they are while tailoring our work to their individual needs.

I also believe mental and physical well-being are deeply connected. Viewing therapy through a holistic lens allows us to consider the whole person — not simply a diagnosis or symptoms. Our relationships, life circumstances, physical well-being, emotions, and self-care can all influence how we experience the world.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people have the capacity for growth and meaningful change. Through a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship, I hope to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Difficult seasons are a natural part of life, but you do not have to navigate them alone.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 10 years and our three children. You’ll often find me reading, trying new recipes, sipping coffee, or writing and journaling.

I look forward to meeting you wherever you are in your journey and walking alongside you toward greater understanding and well-being.
